Huddle – Privacy Policy

Huddle is a Bluetooth peer-to-peer voice communication app developed by RoxoTech Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. (“RoxoTech”, “we”, “us”). Your privacy is fundamental to how we built Huddle.

THE SHORT VERSION

Huddle does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your voice communication travels directly between devices via Bluetooth – it never touches our servers because we don’t have any.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

No personal information (name, email, phone number)
No account or login data
No voice or audio data
No location data
No contacts or address book data
No usage tracking or behavioral analytics
No advertising identifiers

HOW HUDDLE WORKS

Huddle uses Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity framework to establish direct Bluetooth connections between nearby devices. All voice data is transmitted peer-to-peer – directly from one device to another – without passing through any server or cloud service.

LOCAL DATA STORAGE

The only data stored on your device is:

Your display name: The name you enter during onboarding, stored locally using UserDefaults. This name is only shared with nearby peers during a Huddle session and is never transmitted to any server.

Recordings: If you choose to record a conversation, the audio file is saved locally on your device. Recordings are never uploaded or shared automatically.

App preferences: Your settings (language, microphone mode) are stored locally on your device.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Huddle integrates Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics by Google to help us understand app performance and stability. These services may collect:

Anonymous app usage data (app opens, session duration)
Crash reports and diagnostic data
Device type and operating system version

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are collected. For more information, see Firebase Privacy Policy.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Huddle does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any user, Huddle is safe for all ages.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
